Hilda Mary Parker There was once a wooden cross, now lost, to commemorate Hilda Mary Parker. Born in 1905 and baptised there on 24 September, she was the fifth child of the large family of Frank and Hannah Elizabeth Parker nee Cox. Her parents are buried at C 3. 8 along with her sister Winifred Elsie; her brother William John is buried at B 8.9 and her sister Frances Amy is buried at B 9. 6. Another brother, Ernest Frank, is commemorated at F 3. 2. One of thirteen children born to Frank and Hannah, Hilda lived for the duration of her short life in Stoneleigh where her father was a waggoner on the estate. The family lived at The Kennels. Hilda died aged just 14 on 22 June 1920
